Veronica Sifuentes is committed to the students, educators, and families of Mountain View. With key priorities for academic excellence, equitable programs for all students, school safety, and inclusivity; she works collaboratively to strengthen these priorities. 

Ms. Sifuentes has over 20 years of experience in child development, with a profound belief in community empowerment. She worked with the non-profit Options for Learning for 22 years, serving families and communities in the San Gabriel Valley. She also proudly served as a classified employee for Bassett Unified School District for six years and is currently working at Rio Hondo College, supporting adult learners.

Ms. Sifuentes is a product of Mountain View School District, having attended Cogswell, Maxson, and Kranz. A resident of the great cities of El Monte/South El Monte for over 45 years, Ms. Sifuentes is married and has two children who are also products of the public school system. One of her children is a graduate of Cal Poly Humboldt and the other of the University of California, Irvine.
